Question 1

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

For events and corporate sessions, 2-4 weeks notice is usually sufficient, though earlier is always better to secure your preferred date. For large galas, conferences, and multi-day events, I recommend booking as soon as your date is locked in.

Question 2

Do you travel outside Wellington?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! While I'm based in Wellington, I regularly cover events and corporate work across the Kapiti Coast, Wairarapa, Hutt Valley, and the wider lower North Island. Travel within the greater Wellington region is included in most packages. For locations further afield, a travel fee may apply.

Question 3

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

Accepted Answer

Wellington weather is famously unpredictable, and I've shot in every condition imaginable. Most events and corporate shoots are indoors or have indoor backups, and I always plan for contingencies so the conditions never get in the way of great coverage.

Question 4

How do I receive my photos?

Accepted Answer

All photos are delivered via a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images. Event galleries are typically delivered within 24 hours, and corporate galleries within 72 hours, well ahead of the industry standard.

Question 5

Do you offer payment plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes! I offer Afterpay on all bookings, so you can pay in four interest-free instalments. A deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance due before the event.

Question 6

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

I understand plans can change. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event receive a full refund minus the deposit. Within 30 days, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled date within 12 months.

Question 7

What equipment do you use?

Accepted Answer

I shoot with professional-grade 4K cameras and a range of lenses suited to every situation. For videography, I use cinema-grade equipment and drones for aerial footage. All equipment is backed up with spares on every shoot.

Question 8

What is SpotMyPhotos and how does it work?

Can you come to our office or worksite?

Question 15

What's the difference between half-day and full-day corporate sessions?

Accepted Answer

Half-day sessions (up to 4 hours, $1,700) are ideal for team headshots, a specific project, or a single location. Full-day sessions (up to 8 hours, $2,200) cover multiple locations, departments, or a complete brand photography shoot.

Question 16

How should our team prepare for headshots?
